The organization Costs of Care is holding an essay contest for short (500-700 word) entries about the importance of cost awareness in healthcare. The site instructions include:

“Entries will be judged based on the quality of the writing and the relevance of the anecdote to the topic of cost-awareness in medicine. We are primarily seeking stories. The focus of the contest is not to suggest policy solutions.”
